MASTER TIME CALCULATOR
WD Gann said that the year begins on the Vernal Equinox, the first day of Spring. We took Gann at his word and applied one aspect of our mathematical application of the Square of Nine to his concept. You can see from our experiment with the SP500 that the results were "interesting." Here's a recent chart of the Daily SP500. The swing highs and lows that we sampled from and to are marked on the chart. We tested lows-highs and highs-lows here but the Master Time Calculator may be equally as interesting in other modes.
Here are the results exactly as produced by the Master Time Calculator. ![]() July 28, 2005 was the first date of the topping formation. ![]() October 13, 2005 was the date of a major swing low. ![]() November 23, 2005 was a swing high. We believe that most, if not all, Gann's time calculations are based on astronomical data, primarily the orbital relationship of the earth and sun. The Master Time Calculator uses the vernal year of 365.24219 days to calculate the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere for any year after 1900.
